Connor Anderson Bio

Connor started Riverfront Technology, Inc. with Ryan Voss, a co-worker at Effective Networking, LLC, which had been in business for eight years. Connor and Ryan bought the book of business from Effective Networking and formed Riverfront Technology, Inc in May 2008. Prior to working at Effective Networking, Connor was an IT consultant and business development manager for Clifton Gunderson Technology Solutions, from 2003.

Connor has been working with computers since his high school days noodling around with BASIC on an Apple ][. Connor attended the University of Iowa from 1983 to 1987, majoring in communications and political science. For 1987 to 1991 Connor worked as a political field organizer and press operative. In 1989-90, he travelled to the former Czechoslovakia to help that country prepare for its first post-communist elections. Returning from Europe he turned back to his old computer hobby for a new career.

He started with noted innovation management consulting company Kuczmarski & Associates. There during the heyday of the dot-com boom he helped the company grow and worked with Fortune 500 clients as they tried to come to grips with the business implications and opportunities of this whole "Internet thing."

From 1997 to roughly 2003, Connor maintained his own IT consulting firm, working with clients such as: Compaq Computer Corporation, The U.S. Postal Service, The United States Senate, The University of Chicago Department of Radiology, and The Chicago Board of Trade. In 2000, Connor and his family moved back to Iowa in order to give their three children the opportunity to grow up here.
